Leadership

I am a great leader because I am also brave. I am leading Adam, Julilly, and Liza to Canada. In Canada they will finally be free. I also led them through other harsh times.

Bravery

Bravery is very important in my life because you would have to be brave to live a slave life like me. I am also brave because he was chained to the back of a wagon, and had to walk a very far distence to reach a new slave plant that I went to going to. I am brave because me and another slave named Adam had to guide a white man. We were alone with a white man for a night, and in the U.S. back then, most white people were mean to us black people. I am brave also because when I'm picking cotton,I could cut myself and ruin the cotton. When that happens the people who were cut get whipped, and not just once. I got to the "underground railway" and sailed acrooss to Canada.
